The 17th Workshop on Shielding Aspects of Accelerators, Targets, and Irradiation Facilities (SATIF-17) will held at IBS Science Culture Center of Daejeon, Korea from 21-23 Oct. 2026. and hosted jointly by Institute for Rare Isotope Science (IRIS) and Pohang Accelerator Laboratory (PAL).
Following the original spirit of the SATIF workshop, main objectives are:
- promoting the information exchange among experts in the field of accelerator shielding and related topics;
- identifying areas where international cooperation can be fruitful;
- creating task forces in order to achieve progress in specific priority areas.
