DESCRIPTION:The 17th Workshop on Shielding Aspects of Accelerators\, Targe
 ts\, and Irradiation Facilities (SATIF-17) will be held at the IBS Science
  Culture Center of Daejeon\, Korea on 20-22 Oct. 2026\, and will be hosted
  jointly by the Institute for Rare Isotope Science (IRIS) and Pohang Accel
 erator Laboratory (PAL) supported by Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) and DAEJE
 ON Tourism Organization.\nFollowing the original spirit of the SATIF works
 hop\, main objectives are: \n\npromoting the information exchange among e
 xperts in the field of accelerator shielding and related topics\;\nidentif
 ying areas where international cooperation can be fruitful\;\ncreating tas
 k forces in order to achieve progress in specific priority areas.\n\n \nI
